MSC TUGCON 90 (Rev. 5/90) A. Military Sealift Command, Sealift Program
Office, Code PM52P, Requests proposals for a U.S. Flag Ocean-going
tugs capable of meeting the transportation requirements described
below. Ref (A) Shall be the charter form of any contract resulting from
this solicitation and is available upon request. This acquisition is
set-aside for small business concerns. 1. RFP No.:N00033-00-R-5207 (22

Tug(s) required: U.S. Flag ocean-going tugs capable of towing the
vessel(s) described in box 6 below. Contractor shall provide tow bridle
for vessel(s). Contractor shall provide independent survey to certify
the acceptability of tow rig and its attachments to the towed
vessel(s). Tug must have a minimum 2000 shafthorsepower. The required
delivery date in Philadelphia, PA is no later than 03 Dec 1999. The
tugs are being rigged in accordance with Appendix H of the Navy Towing
Manual. 6. Description of the tow: three(3) YTB tugs. Vessel
Description: Length overall, 109 ft.; bean, 29 ft.; maximum draft, 14
ft. Riding Crew-No. 7. Port/Place of Departure: Roosevelt Roads, PR 8.
Port/Place of Destination: Philadelphia, PA 9. Laytime: 1 day SSHEX
each port. 10. Proposals accepted until: 1100 hrs Washington DC time,
28 Oct 1999. 11. Laydays: Commencing: 22 Nov 1999/Cancelling: 22 Nov
