NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 8-Slot System + 8 Single-ended inputs, P/N DEW-3000 (2 ea); Dasy Lab +, P/N DLAB-1 Opt. (2 ea); 8 Gig Hard Drive or Better, (2 ea); High Voltage Module, P/N DAQP-DMM (4 ea); 8-Ch Voltage/Current/Temperature Module, P/N PAD-VTH8 (2 ea). This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from Southern Marketing Associates, Inc., 2180 S.R. 434 West, Suite 1124, Longwood, FL 32779, on a sole source basis. Only one responsible source is available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have five (5) days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after five (5) days or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
