Gilchrist, Contracting Officer (412) 386-6428 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have a requirement for technical support for epidemiology and exposure assessment studies conducted by the Industrywide Studies Branch at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Primary tasks in epidemiology involve compiling new databases and maintaining existing databases on workers chronically exposed to potentially hazardous physical and chemical agents. Primary tasks in exposure assessment involve collecting existing industrial hygiene data, compiling databases, and conducting walk-through and comprehensive industrial hygiene surveys.
