Requirement consists of packing, containerization, and local drayage of personal property shipments, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina to include but not limited to preparing personal property of military members and civilian employees for inbound, outbound, intra-city area movement, or drayage and related services. The contract will include a base year period (01 Jan 00 -- 31 Dec 00) and two pre-priced option periods. The solicitation issue date will be on or about 04 Nov 99. The proposed acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 4783 with an annual small business size standard of $12 million. The successful contractor will be evaluated using performance/price tradeoff procedures in accordance with FAR 15.101-1, resulting in the best value to the Government. Performance is significantly moreimportant than price. Recent, relevant, past and present performance is defined as performance of the same or similar type of work within the last three years.
