This Job Order Contract is for a broad range maintenance, repair and minor construction work or real property for the District of Columbia Public Schools. Contract type is an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract and will list a variety of individual construction tasks. After award individual delivery orders will be issued to the successful contractor. Contractor will be required to furnish all material, equipment, and personnel necessary to manage accomplish the work. The contractor is required to maintain a local management office in order to receive work request and provide other engineering management services related to accomplishing the task. Individual delivery order will vary in size with a majority expected to be small to medium size. The jobs will include task in a variety of trades such as: brick layers, carpenters, carpet layers, cement masons, drywall applicators, electricians, glaziers, ironworkers, laborers, millwrights, mosaic, terrazzo, and tile workers, painters/drywall finishers, plumbers, power equipment operators, resilient floor layers, roofers, sheet metal workers, sprinkler fitters, truck drivers, steam fitters, and refrigerations and air conditioning mechanics. The base contract period will be for 15 months with two (2) twelve (12) month option years.
