The National Park Service, Columbia Cascades Support Office, is soliciting proposals for the rehabilitation of a water system at Munson Valley, Crater Lake National Park, Oregon. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment for the general construction of potable water mains, fire hydrants, valve boxes, and connections to existing water mains and distribution lines in the Munson Valley Headquarters Area. Also included in the construction are the revisions to the seal reservoir and concrete valve chamber in the Headquarters Area. Plugging and abandoning of existing lines are also included. A site visit will be conducted on November 18, 1999 at 1:00 P.M., local time pending weather conditions. It is strongly recommended that all offerers attend. The meeting will be conducted promptly at the Headquarters Area, Munson Valley. All offerers are encouraged to call Mr. Gordon Toso at (541)594-2211, Ext.200 for confirmation of attendance and place of meeting. This solicitation is being issued as Full and Open Competion in accordance with Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and is a Competitive Proposal. The Evaluation Criteria will be listed in the solicitation. Award will be made to the offerer which in the Government's opinion offers the best value.
