Lewis, CONTRACTING OFFICER The Government intends to make a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Firm Fixed Price Contract, for riprap (stone slope protection) and sand. The Government anticipates ordering riprap with top sizes of 10", 18" and 24" inches. Additional sizes of stone may be required. Specific gradations required will be contained in the solicitation documents. Primarily, the stone will be delivered by barge to navigation pools and rivers located in the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which includes all or portions of Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, New York, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia and Maryland. The contract will also provide for land delivery. The contract will be awarded for a base year period and four option year periods. All responsive proposals will be evaluated by utilizing the following factors: (A) Past Performance & Experience; (B) Production & Delivery Capability; (C) Quality of Product; (D) Availability of Product; and (E) Cost. Award(s) will be made to the offeror(s) whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and has been determined to be the most advantageous to the Government all factors considered.
