The Defense National Stockpile Center (DNSC) is soliciting quotations to remove, dispose and provide a tank closure report for four (4) underground storage tanks (UST) at the DNSC Scotia, NY storage depot. The tanks formerly stored No. 2 Fuel Oil and the tank sizes are as follows: one 6,000 gallon tank, one 4,000-gallon tank, and two 2,500-gallon tanks. All appropriate New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) permits, certificates, closure reports, and routinely required documents shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. All interested parties are encouraged to visit the site prior to quoting. The DNSC Scotia, NY storage depot is located on Route 5, Scotia, NY 12302. Completion of the project is required with 60 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated dollar value of this project is less than $25,000. This Request for Quotation will be issued and any subsequent award will be made pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Standard Industrial Classification for this project is 1795. The small business size standard is $7,000,000. A date for issuance of the request for quotations has not yet been established.
