This is a combined synopsis-/-solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and THERE WILL BE NO WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION ISSUED and interested parties are prompted to review this announcement in its entirety and respond accordingly. Failure to provide required documentation may render the offeror unresponsive and ineligible for contract award. The solicitation number for this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is N00244-00-T-0083. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. This solicitation is issued issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside (SEE Note 1), under Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 7378, Computer Maintenance and Repair, with a small business standard of $18 million. FISC San Diego has a requirement for the following items: Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001 Lancare Standard Hardware Support Plan on Government-owned hardware. The Work Statement requires the following: 1. Toll Free Technical Support on all Fore Systems Equipment 2. 24-hour support on hardware repairs and parts 3. Technical Engineering on system design 4. Router Configuration Support 5. 24-hour response time to support contract 6. 24-hour turn around on all failed parts and repairs. Performance shall occur at Lemoore Naval Air Station, Lemoore, CA and shall begin on the date of contract award. Delivery shall be coordinated thru the following centralized location: Naval Air Station, 773 W. Franklin, Lemoore, CA 93246. The name and telephone number of the location point of contact will be provided in the contract award. Hours of delivery will be as required (24 hour per day availability required).
