68 -- TRIMEDLURE BASKETS AND PLUGS SOL 29-M-APHIS-00 DUE 121599 POC Kathryn Linde 612-370-2494 The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Edinburg, TX intends to acquire 3,555 trimedlure baskets and 639,983 trimedlure plugs. This requirement is in addition to the quantity being acquired under the option period of the existing contract. A first article sample is required 10 days after contract award, with the first article sample produced at the same facility as the production quantity. This is a synopsis for request for proposal prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 15. This procurement will be awarded as a fixed price contract, FOB destination. It is anticipated that a single award will be made but multiple awards will be made if necessary to procure the total quantity. Delivery schedule to be established and will be in the solicitation package. The copy of the solicitation, 29-M-APHIS-00,is to be released on or about November 5, 1999.
