necessary to perform drydock repairs including but not limited to the
following Base Items: (1) Renew Hull and Shell Plating, (2) Clean and
Inspect Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tank, (3) Clean,
Inspect and Preserve Diesel Fuel Tanks, (4) Clean, Inspect and
Disinfect Potable Water Tank, (5) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall
Propeller Shafts, (6) Renew Water-Lubricated Shaft Bearings, (7)
Remove, Inspect and Reinstall Propellers, (8) Preserve the Transducer
Hull Ring and Renew the Depth Indicating Transducer, (9) Overhaul,
Renew and Test Valves, (10) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Rudder, (11)
Overhaul, Inspect and Test 4M Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat Crane, (12)
Provide Temporary Messing, (13) Provide Temporary Berthing, (14)
Provide Temporary Logistics, (15) Routine Drydocking, (16) GFP Report.
Optional Items include but are not limited to the following: (1)
Welding Repairs, (2) Align Caterpillar Main Engine, (3) Renew Propeller
Shaft Coupling, (4) Renew Shaft Sleeves, (5) Perform Minor Repair and
Recondition Propeller, (6) Renew Waster Pieces, (7) Preserve Underwater
Body, (8) Provide Additional Temporary Messing, (9) Provide Additional
Temporary Berthing, (10) Provide Additional Temporary Logistics, (11)
Composite Labor, (12) Laydays. Vessel's homepier is Montauk, NY.
Vessel's availability schedule is 01 March 2000 for 28 calendar days.
Vessel is an 82 Foot Coastal Patrol Boat. All referenced documents are
available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 500, Norfolk, VA.
A charge of $150.00 is required in the form of a certified check or
money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested
drawings. Drawings are also available, free of charge, on CD-ROM. For
more information about CD-ROM drawings, contact the Contracting
Officials listed above. All businesses, large and small, are encouraged
to submit bids for the subject requirements. Plans and specifications
will be issued on or after 17 November 1999. All responsible sources
may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast
Guard. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business
Enterprises DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT) Short-Term
Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of
lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation
