S -- - NOTICE OF INTNT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH THE HAGERMAN FISH CULTURE EXPERIMENT STATION. Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with the Hagerman Fish Culture Experiment Station for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). Purpose of contract is to conduct a study to determine a feeding regimen for captively-reared fish stocks to enhance post-release fitness of juveniles and improve the reproductive performance of adults. The Hagerman Fish Culture Experiment Station possesses the necessary personnel, facilities (fish tanks along the Columbia River in Idaho), and expertise to conduct study under the proposed contract. The study being conducted under proposed contract is being funded by the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) and BPA specifically approved the Hagerman Fish Culture Experiment Station for this study.
