Z -- SNOWMOBILE TRAIL GROOMING SOL RFP-17-00-07 DUE 120999 POC Contracting Department, FAX 530-478-6126 This project is to provide a safe smooth surface that snowmobiles can travel up to a maximum speed of 35 MPH. The groomed trails are located on the Sierraville and Truckee Ranger Districts. There are approximately 120 miles of grooming in the loop system and 10 miles in the Prosser-Fibreboard Tie for a total system of 130 miles. The staging area is the Little Truckee Summit OHV parking area. This is located 17 miles north of Truckee and 8 miles south of Sierraville on State Highway 89. The operating period shall be the 15 weeks between Monday, December 13, 1999, and the fourth Friday in March, 2000. This is an Indefinite Quantity contract with two option renewal years for 2001 and 2002. Solicitation issue date 11/10/99.
