Estimated issue date is 15 Nov 99. The proposed procurement will result in the award of a long-term firm fixed price indefinite quantity type contacts per FAR 16.504. The term of the contract will be for one (1) year with two (2) additional one-year ordering periods to extend the contract in accordance with FAR 52.217-9 for a total maximum period of three (3) years. The quantity of 3,198 each Blank Firing Attachment is the minimum guaranteed quantity to be awarded under this solicitation and specifically represents the "minimum quantity", as defined by the referenced FAR and DFARS clauses contained within the solicitation document either in full text or by reference. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
