Nelson, Contracting Officer, (202) 707-8610 The Library of Congress has a requirement for hardware, software, installation and support to produce digital images -- this hardware and software will be installed in two major institutions in Moscow and St. Petersburg in the Russian Federation. These institutions will then supply the Library of Congress with the digital files as well as associated bibliographic descriptions in electronic form (on CD-Rs). Hardware and software to be provided could include Pentium 450 MHz PC, Agfa DuoScan T2000 flatbed scanner. Apple 450 MHz G4, and a 4x5 large format camera with digital back for color scanning of large materials, as well as other peripherals, software, and cabling.
