This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with teh format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being reuested and a written solicitaiton will not be issued. The solicitation number is NFC-0-Q-002 and is issued as a Request for Qotation, under simplified acquisition procedures. The SIC code is 2542 Office and Store fixtures, Partutuibs shelving and lockers, except wood- 500 employees. The solicitgation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federa Acquisition Circular 97-14. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which, if timely received, shall be considered by the Government. The contractor shall provided the following Data Center Storage Systems for the USDA, National Finance Center located in New Orleans, LA. Item must be brand name or equal and must be compabible in size, configuration operations and interface with the existing Engineered Data Products System. Line items and quantities are as follows: #3492-80B-25 Double Sided Base Unit 6 each, 3491-40B-25 Single Sided Base Unit 12 each, 3491-40-ESB-26 Single Sided Sliders 12 each and delivery and installation of the above items 1 lot. The government reserves the right to purchase additional quanties prior to 9/30/2000. The government requires delivery and installation within 30 days after receipt of order. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to a responsible offeror whos offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered most advantageous to the Government. Offerors initial quote should contain the oferor's best terms, conditions and pricing. All pricing must be firm for a period of 60 days and must contain the name, address, taxpayer ID Numer, Duns Number, telephone Number of the offeror as well as any discount terms that are offered. If an equal product is submitted offeror must demonstrate the compability with the existing system.
