This project includes supervision, labor, materials, and testing necessary to for the base work which includes, two(2) 34.5KV circuit breaker elements, one (1) 34.5KV circuit to substation M, one(1) 34.5KV underground circuit routed form substation K to M, remove two (2) overhead 2.4KV circuits routed form substation M to N, two (2) 2.4KV circuits routed from substation M to N, one (1) 2.4KV circuit from manhole to pad mounted transformer, one(1) new pad mounted transformer with secondary connections, one (1) new pad mounted transformer load center and secondary feed, new underground duct bank and manholes. OPTION(S): Optional work shall consists of one (1) new 34.5/6.9KV transformer, one (1) lineup of 6.9KV switchgear, one 6.9KV circuit (18 cables) from transformer to 6.9KV switchgear, one (1) 6.9KV tie circuit (2000A bus duct) from 6.9KV switchgear to existing 6.9KV switchgear, one (1) 6.9KVcircuit (4 cables) from existing 6.9KV switchgear to existing 6.9KV switchgear,one (1) 6.9KV switchgear unit complete with 2000 A circuit breaker at existing switchgear lineup, underground duct bank from manhole to transformer, remove overhead 34.5KV feeder circuit routed from substation a to M, remove overhead lines from wood pole structures, remove 34.5KV cable routed to transformer and test 34.5KV cables routed form substation B to transformer, remove 34.5KV transformer and replace with new transformer, splice 2.4KV secondary cables into existing transformer secondary cables, repair transformer foundation, remove 34.5KV cable routed to transformer and test 34KV cable routed form substation B to transformer, remove 34.5KV transformer and test new transformer, splice new 2.4KV secondary cables into existing transformer secondary cables, repair transformer foundation, remove 34.5KV cable routed to transformer and test new 34.5KV cable routed form substation B to transformer, remove 34.5KV transformer and test new transformer, remove transformer 2.4KV secondary cables and test new transformer secondary cables, splice 2.4KV secondary cables into existing transformer secondary cables, repair transformer foundation, furnish and install oil containment around transformers. Bidders shall be required to submit with their bid DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE for transformers and cable to evaluate the technical acceptability of an offered product. All requirements in the Statement Of Work (SOW) shall apply to both the base contract work and all options. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. FIXED PRICE CONTRACT is contemplated. Construction Estimate is between $1,000,000. And $5,000,000. Solicitation forms will be made available as soon as opening date is established. Request for copies of this proposed procurement should be received as soon as possible in order to facilitate mailing of same to the extent copies are available directly to the inquirer at time of issuance. Hard copies onlyof the solicitation will be issued. This solicitation WILL NOT be available on the Internet. The firm date for receipt of bids will be stated in the IFB. Drawings will be available from the Blue Printing Company stated in the IFB. All responsible qualified sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B". Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer, so that a source list can be created and documented.
