This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The only approved source for this solicitation is Rolls-Royce Allison FSCM: 63005. Solicitation F41608-99-Q-46104 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Contract line item 0001 is for 47 EA of 4th Stage Vane (NSN 2840-00-012-7100RW, P/N 6846907). Size/Dimensions: 14 x 14 x 6 inches. Form/Fit/Function Description: Shaft coupling turbine has external splined at the front and rear. The front of the shaft splines into the compressor coupling, and is secured to the coupling by an internal retaining ring. The rear end of the shaft assembly turbine coupling, splines into the coupling shaft turbine. The purpose of the shaft assy turbine coupling is to rotate the (compressor module and turbine module) power section RPM. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Steel. Materiel is to be delivered to FB2039, Mark for ACCT 09, Transportation Officer, OC-ALC TISD, Bldg. #506, Door #22, 7401 Arnold Street, Tinker AFB, OK. 73145-9013 as follows: 47 EA 30 JUN 2000. Acceptance and FOB are at origin. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items also applies to this acquisition. Qualifications requirements are in accordance with Commercial procedures.
