This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The only approved source for this solicitation is Rolls-Royce Allison FSCM: 63005. Solicitation F41608-99-Q-46102 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Contract line item 0001 is for 204 EA of 4th Stage Vane (NSN 2840-00-021-8170RW, P/N 6846995). Size/Dimensions: 10 x 12 x 5 inches. Form/Fit/Function Description: 4th stage turbine vane segments are retained rotationally by the tangs of the 3rd stage vane segment. 4th stage vane assy shroud the knives edge on the turbine wheel and spacer to form air seals. The purpose of the 4th stage turbine vane is to use this air seal arrangement to increase turbine efficiency by minimizing air leakage between the vane assy and the turbine rotor. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Steel. Materiel is to be delivered to FB2039, Mark for ACCT 09, Transportation Officer, OC-ALC TISD, Bldg. #506, Door #22, 7401 Arnold Street, Tinker AFB, OK. 73145-9013 as follows: 204 EA 30 JUN 2000. Acceptance and FOB are at origin. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items also applies to this acquisition. Qualifications requirements are in accordance with Commercial procedures.
