The term of the contract will be date of award through 8 weeks. The solicitation number is 1PI-R-1487-00. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3553 and small business size standard is 500. Line items as follows. Line Item 0001 -- 1 each Altendorf F45 3800 Horizontal Panel Saw. Item 0002 -- 1 each Optimat KD-94 Automatic Edgebander. Item 0003 -- 1 each Gannomat Pro Line 50 Boring Machine. Item 0004 -- 1 each Gannomat Optimat 35 Boring Machine. All items must be BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. Prices should include installation and training. Brand name or equivelant salient factors are listed in Section C-Description/Specification/Work Statements. Acceptance is subject to UNICOR Quality Assurance Inspection. Descriptive Literature of each item will be required. All offerors shall provide a trade in value for machines that will be traded in. The solicitation package will contained each machine that will be traded in. Offerors will be allowed to view equipment in order to quote on the trade in discount value. Delivery will be FOB Destination to UNICOR-Federal Prison Industries, FPI -Forrest City, 779 SFC 806, Forrest City, AR 72335. Delivery hours: 7:30am through 2:30pm Monday thru Friday notwithstanding emergencies and Federal Holidays. In accordance with FAR 52.216-18 ORDERING, orders my be issued under the resulting contract from the date of award through 8 weeks. In accordance with FAR52.216-20 Definite Quantity the contractor shall furnish supplies or services specified in the schedule. In order for the Government to evaluate past performance, each offeror must submit references of at least five previously performed contracts on the FP19999.999.9 Business Questionnaire. Award will be made on an multiple award basis. Award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the proposal that is determined to be the best value to the Government considering price and/or cost and price-related factors, if any, as specified in FAR 14.201-8, past performance and technical quality. The government may make an award with or without any discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offeror's initial proposal should contain the offorer's best terms from a price standpoint.
