Each console position shall have the ability to detach from the main console and function as a stand-alone console position, or have the ability to have one continuous console with 5 positions. (Corner sections may be required in order to have continuous u-shaped console with 5 positions.) All consoles shall consist of a structural frame, exterior decorative panels, and trim. The structural frame members shall be at least 14-gauge cold rolled steel. The panels and trim shall be at least 19-gauge cold rolled steel. Each enclosure shall incorporate provisions for connecting to an adjacent enclosure on both sides to form a console of unlimited length. Provisions for mounting a cover panel on either side of the enclousre and a desk height writing surface on the front of the module shall be included. Maximum overall dimensions of each console shall be: Height: 50 inches, including height of 25 inch monitors; Width 84 inches; and Depth 48 inches. Quoters are requested to provide quotes for either VERSION A or VERSION B or both. VERSION A: 14 inch hight open turret, 2 monitors, and 8 1/4 inch maximum high turret (with top and sides enclosed) to be set on a separate bench that would be positioned 3-5 inches below desk surface beginning at a minimum 17 inches from front of console, allowing eye level visuals of monitors. VERSION B: Continuous flat top surface of console. 14 inch high open turret, 2 monitors, 5-1/4 inch turret to be set on back of console surface. NOTE: Quoters may propose quotes based on 2 versions of console. The preferred version is version A.
