This requirement is for one Mid-IR-2 Laser System, Short Pulse Laser 10.6 microns, Model Number EOM-10, to include one Second Harmonic Frequency Doubler option. This is a contemplated sole source to DeMaria ElectroOptics Systems, Inc., 1280 Blue Hills Avenue, Bloomfield, CT 06002, (860) 243-9557. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-00-Q-0260 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only RFQ. A written RFQ will not be issued. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this acquisition is 3827 (500 employees).
