The programmer shall assist health economists in the creation and analysis of large data sets on health care cost and health services utilization, including data gathered in clinical trials and health services studies. The prgrammer must have (1) a bachelor's degree, (2) experience in the use of a high-level computer programming languages for the analysis of databases, such as SAS, (3) a course in statistics and (4) some familiarity with the use of statistical computer software for data analysis. The best qualified candidate will have more statistics training, SAS skills, a Masters degree, and knowledge of the health care system.
