The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to procure services for process reengineering workflow analysis in support of the NAVAIR METCAL Program. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Science and Technology Research, Inc., Upper Marlboro, MD. Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier of these services as they are the developer of the NAVAIR METCAL program process flowcharts, mapping, and workflow analysis, and they are the only known firm possessing the knowledge, experience and technical expertise in all the METCAL process areas. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
