C -- A/E FOR REPAIR/REPLACE SEWERS SOL V15-00-0025 DUE 120299 POC Jerry Shepherd, 913-758-6413-Linda Dickey, 913-758-6465 FAX 913-758-6495 A/E services are required to conduct an Engineering study of existing underground sewer system, and prepare Design Development (DD) and Construction documents (CD) for a project to Repair/Replace Sewers, at the Jefferson Barracks Division of the VA Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. Scope of work includes: (1) Investigate and prepare and Engineering Study written report of all existing sewers; (2) prepare Design Development drawings, including a construction cost estimate, for reparing or replaceing existing sewers in worst condition up to project cost limit of $658,000 based on the Engineering Study; and (3) prepare construction Documents consisting of drawings, specifications and construction cost estimate based upon approved DD submittal. All work shall be in full compliance with Department of Veterans Affairs Program Guide PG-08-15, Volume C, A/E Submission Instructions for Minor and NRM Construction Program. all necessary reports shall be prepared in MS Word Version 97 or later, and all drawings shallbe prepared in AutoCadd Release 14, or later. One set of 3-1/2" computer disks containing all reports, specifications, cost estimates and drawings will be required for the final submission of the CD documents.
