RFP SP4400-00-R-0001: Service contract for all fees, labor, packaging, removal, transportation and disposal of hazardous items from DRMO Jacksonville and surrounding locations. SP4400-00-R-0001 will be issued on or about November 16, 1999, and will close on or about December 16, 1999. This solicitation will result in an indefinite-quantity type contract being awarded to one contractor. This contract will have an 18-month base period and two 12-month option periods. Performance will be requested by issuance of written task orders against the basic contract. Qualifications: Prospective contractors or subcontractors must be able to meet all Federal, state, and local laws, ordinances and regulation governing disposal of hazardous waste materials, and environmental protection. This procurement is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. The final contract award decision will be based on a combination of price and other factorsdescribed in the solicitation.
