The purpose of this synopsis is to identify interested and qualified sources for the procurement of Integrated Logistics Supportability (ILS) Services for NAWCTSD training device systems. The applicable SIC Code for this effort is 8711. The Government is considering restricting this acquisition for qualified 8(a) HUBZone business concerns. In order to determine whether there is a reasonable expectation of receiving offers from two or more qualified 8(a) HUBZone contractors, the Government is requesting all interested concerns provide a capability briefing to the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division in Orlando FL. The Government requests that the Capabilities Brief NOT simply provide general corporate information, but rather address the following specific areas: 1. Statement of Objectives -- The attached SOO (available on the NAWCTSD web site) provides a description of the Integrated Logistics Supportability (ILS) program and the types of tasks likely to be encountered as part of this program. The contractor should be prepared to discuss its technical approach to performance of these types of tasks and how it would fulfill a requirement for a local office. 2. Past Performance -- The offeror should be prepared to discuss its relevant performance of similar services. 3. Personnel -- The offeror should be prepared to discuss its plans for providing qualified personnel to perform the effort and the types of personnel that would be utilized in the execution of the SOW. The Government intends to award this effort as a five year indefinite quantity contract with provisions to award fixed price, time and material and cost plus fixed fee delivery orders. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be provided with the RFP. A single contract award is anticipated. All interested parties are requested to contact the Contract Specialist, Rebecca P. Ness at 407/380-4078 or the Contracting Officer, Susan Gregory Minor at 407/380-8020 to schedule a Capability Brief on one of the following days: 6, 7 or 8 December 1999.
