Fast, Affordable, Smart Training (FAST) to achieve Software Process Capability; The Vehicular Advanced Software Technology Consortium (VAST-C) -- announcement of request for vendors to request information to bid on selected FAST workshops. FAST is a sequence of 2-6 day workshops to assist organizations in achieving high levels of software capability maturity. The objective is to position small or large organizations to successful meet goals of CMM level 2 in 12 months, level 3 in 18 months. Although VAST-C member organizations, small businesses and Michigan companies will be given some preference, the awards are open to all. The program is coordinated with efforts to award contracts from the US Army Next Generation Software Engineering lab and related efforts of the State of Michigan Economic Development Corp.
