R -- SAF/AQ TECHNICAL AND ANALYTICAL SUPPORT Background "Special Notice. The Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition (SAF/AQ) anticipates awarding a competitive engineering, program analysis, and financial analysis contract (Secretary of the Air Force Technical and Analytical Support, or SAFTAS). SAF/AQ would like to promote an open dialogue with industry regarding this requirement and potential solicitation. To assist contractors in understanding the anticipated requirement, a SAFTAS Industry Day is scheduled for 23 November 1999, at 11:00 a.m., in the Hope Hotel and Conference Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Firms planning to attend must register not later than 19 November 1999 by emailing Martin.Hamlin@wpafb.af.mil, or calling (937) 255-9362. At the conclusion of the main Industry Day session, the program manager and the contracting officer will be available for individual meetings to discuss your questions and comments. Individual meetings must be scheduled upon registration. Firms requesting an individual meeting are asked to complete the market survey at the SAFTAS web site below and come prepared to discuss your answers.
