E-MAIL: Jim Langdon, jim.langdon@gsa.gov. Description: The General Services Administration is interested in leasing 36,000 occupiable square feet of warehouse and office space for one year. This space will be occupied by the Bureau of Prisons to store equipment in conjunction with the construction of a U.S. Penitentiary in Pollock, Louisiana. Unique Requirements: The delineated area for this lease space is within a 25 mile radius of Pollock, LA and should yield 4,000 square feet of air conditioned office space and 32,000 square feet of warehouse space. All warehouse space shall be on one floor. The warehouse area should have at least 2,000 square feet of secured space with at least one raised loading dock with levelers. The dock shall have a minimum of two bays, each with overhead door accessing. The entire building shall be serviced by a fire sprinkler system with separate toilet facilities for men and women. Secure parking for 40 to 50 vehicles will be required within the complex. The parking lot must be lighted and paved with asphalt or concrete. The Government shall have access to the space 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. This shall be a full service lease with property ready for occupancy no later than March 1, 2000.
