E-MAIL: Two Bridges 4220, erinagoff@us.gov. This CBD Notice is for the invitation for a Site Visit only. R6-6-00-102 Britenbush Bridge Replacement, Clackamas River Ranger District, Mt. Hood National Forest, Clackamas County, Oregon. The purpose of this Notice is to inform the public of a site visit planned for this project. The Government is planning to advertise this project during the winter months of 2000, when the area will most likely be under snow. The desired Start Work Date is July 15, 2000, with work completed prior to September 15, 2000. The project consists of removing and replacing two (2) bridges. The bridge work will consist of minor excavation of road at the bridge sites and approaches, hauling in four (4) 40-45 foot precast, prestressed structural girders; 50-60 cy of structural concrete; reinforced steel; rebuilding on Road 4220 with grid-rolled pitrun. The old bridges will be removed and hauled from Forest Service land. The SITE VISIT is scheduled for November 9, 1999, 10:00 a.m., PST; Ripplebrook Guard Station, approximately 26 miles east of Estacada, Oregon, on Highway 224. General project information will be shared, then we will proceed to the project site, which is accessed by travelling approximately 30 miles from Ripplebrook, on Forest Service Road No. 46, to Forest Service Road 4220. The first site is approximately 3.8 miles on Forest Service Road 4220; the second site is approximately 1.2 miles beyond the first site on Forest Service Road 4220.
