The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Microwave Engineering Corporation, 1551 Osgood Street, North Andover, MA 01845 for (20) electromagnetic compatibility filters for AN/SPS-48-E air search radars. The needed filters are for shipboard installation and must meet stringent performance requirements. Business concerns may submit expressions of interest concerning this sole source procurement along with technical capability statements providing verifiable documentation of having successfully delivered AN/SPS-48-E filters for Navy use. This contract shall be awarded on an all or none basis, with all items shipped FOB destination to NSWC Crane Indiana. The required filters shall be acceptance tested at NSWC Crane, and accepted only after passing stringent high power performance testing conducted by Government engineering personnel.
