The Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA)intends to issue a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside Competitive, Solicitation No. RFP-HCFA-00-0035/DMP, approximately 15 days after publication of this notice. HCFA intends to purchase logistical support services to facilitate the scheduling of psychiatric hospital and other provider surveys nationwide. The contractor shall provide support services as required to accomplish this objective. Support services shall include, but not be limited to, scheduling surveyors, making travel arrangements, securing hotel accommodations, distributing survey information, making disbursements to surveyors, and preparing reports as required in the Statement of Work. The Standard Industrial Classification code (SIC) is 8742, Management Consulting Services. Although the product service code for this procurement is Q526, which is used to describe medical services, the work in this contract will be to provide support services to facilitate psychiatric hospital surveys. The period of performance under this contract will be 12 months after the date of award with a potential of four one-year option years.
