The Air Mobility Command (AMC) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for providing a constantly manned airfield capability information desk, and researching and updating planning factors information for all active airfields in the AMC Global Decision Support System Airfield Database. Request interested offerors capable of performing this effort submit a capability statement no later than 19 Nov 99. Information submitted in the capability statement should include company name, address, telephone number, point of contact, business size and general description of the company and services provided. Interested parties should submit information to demonstrate their capability of performing the airfield database maintenance and 24 hour a day, 7 days a week help desk requirements. Interested parties shall also include a list of their most recent and relevant contracts for providing similar services to include contract number, place of performance, customer point of contact, telephone number, contract type, amount of award, and period of performance. The information should also include a very brief description of the services required and whether performance was considered acceptable or an explanation for performance problems noted. Interested parties should also indicate their ability to provide these services with personnel who already possess, or have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance within thirty days after contract award. Be sure to identify any existing federal supply schedules such as through the General Services Administration or other existing government contracts that may be used to obtain such services along with ordering information.
