The work of this contract is intended to bring the current brick paver pathway at Mission San Jose into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. This work is required because the current walkway is in poor condition. The contract will require the replacement of the existing walkway with a sand finished, buff colored concrete walkway system with irregular edges. The new walkway system will be installed in phases to allow visitors access to the site during construction. When completed, the entire visitor route through Mission San Jose will be completely accessible, 3280 lineal feet of 6 feet wide walks will be completed. Mission San Jose is located at San Antonio Missions National Historical Park in San Antonio, Texas. Estimated cost range for this project is $250,000 to $500,000.
