The Navy requires 20 each RS-422 Interface Kits to interface the AN/UQN-4 to a computer-controlled ship-wide monitoring, switching network developed for AEGIS Class ships. This requirement is being solicited on a sole-source basis to EDO Corporation, 2645 South 300 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 since the software and hardware design are proprietary to EDO Corp. and are not available for sale. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency.
