This is a Market Survey/Sources Sought Announcement seeking to identify potential suppliers either Open Market or GSA. CECOM Acquisition Center, Southwest Operations Office CAC-S is seeking sources to provide for the repair and return of individual components and supply support operations, for the Tri-band Terminal, AN/TSC-143, Satellite Communication System, hereinafter referred to as the Tri-band. Potential offerors must be able to 1) Provide for the repair and return of repair/spare parts (see below) within 45 days of receipt by contractor. Exceptions to this requirement may be granted on a case by case basis. 2) Provide detailed instruction on shipping repair parts to the contractor. The contractor will insure to full replacement value and provide the tracking number to ASC on all shipments. 3) Provide emergency repair and return support in the case of a real world deployment to facilitate the 72 hour deployment of six (6) AN/TSC-143 Systems. Provide continued emergency support to the repair and return of all components of the AN/TSC-143 system throughout the deployment. a) On request, deploy not more than two personnel forward to facilitate repair and return into theater of operations. 4)Establish repair and return processes for upgraded commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components when they are introduced into the system. TRAINING: Upon request, provide training to soldiers, CECOM Logistics Assistance Representatives, and other government personnel on the operation and maintenance of the AN/TSC-143. TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Upon request provide one on site person to facilitate the procurement and repair of all components of the AN/TSC-143. Spare parts to consist of the following: Up Converter UCSM-105-2; Down Converter DCSM-105-2; Satellite MODEM; Traveling Wave Tube Amp TWTA; Antenna Control Unit ACU; Motor Interface Unit 4056-MIU; Low Noise Amplifier LNA; Dual Power Converter DPC; Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS; Operator Interface Unit OIU 50001; Interface Unit OIU 50001; OIU TFT Display; OIU Hard Drive; Stargate Circuit Card Avanstar; Stargate Panel Avanstar; SMU Chassis; Processor front card P200/400; CISCO Router 2501 and 2514.
