The U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) is soliciting for closing agent services for the sale of single family properties located within the Memphis, TN area comprising of the following 21 counties: Benton, Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Fayette, Gibson, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, Madison, McNairy, Obion, Shelby, Tipton and Weakley. Sales must be closed within a stipulated timeframe and prompt and accurate payment of all closing charges made. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee. The contract will be for a one-year base period, with four one-year options. Proposals will be rated on technical merit. Contract start-up is expected to be February 1, 2000. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
