The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command intends to release the Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 11/23/99 for Synthesizer Function Generator. The intended solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The anticipated closing date for responses to the RFP is 12/28/99. This acquisition will be a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity type contract, awarded for a period of 5 years for a Synthesizer/Function Generator (MIS 45853). The minimum quantity to be acquired is 97 each. The maximum quantity to be acquired is 500 each. The Government will not be obligated to purchase more than the minimum quantity established in the resultant contract. This solicitation will be issued utilizing full and open competitive procedures.
