Hurlburt Field intends to award a sole-source (sole manufacturer) contract for ten (10)each Multimedia SmartLecterns, Model MT-101 to include Room Commander, Part Number MT-50 and Windows Active X software, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This requirement is unrestricted, the SIC is 2531, size standard is 500 employees. The government requires purchase of (10)each Multimedia SmartLecterns, Model MT-101 to include Room Commander, Part Number MT-50 and Windows Active X software capable of setting up, controlling, and monitoring the Electronic Classrooms, ten (10)each Multimedia SmartLecterns, It is imperative that this required equipment be of the same make, model, and design of the existing SmartLecterns located at the 58th TRS, Kirtland AFB NM, to ensure uniformity, integration and interface of a planned centralized courseware network. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. Award will not be made on the basis of responses to this synopsis. Firms responding to this synopsis should reference the solicitation number and indicate their business size as defined by FAR 52.219.
