C -- A/E CONTRACT FOR REPLACE ELICTRICAL FEEDERS SOL V15-00-0031 DUE 120699 POC Jerry Shepherd, 913-758-6413-Linda Dickey, 913-758-6465 FAX 913-758-6495 A/E services are require to conduct an Engineering Study of existing underground main electric fedder system, and prepare Design development (DD) and Construction Documents (CD) for a project to Replace Electric Fedders, at the Jefferson barracks Division of the VA Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. Scope of Work includes: (1) Investigate and prepare and Engineering Study written report, for replacing existing feeders; (2) prepareDesign Development drawings, including a construction cost estimate, for replaceing existing feeders in worst condition up to an estimated cost range of $500,000 to $1,000,000 based upon the Engineering Study; and (3) prepare Construction Documents consisting of drawings, specifications and construction cost estimate based on the approved DD submittal. All work shall be in full compliance with Department of Veterans Affairs Program Guide PG-08-15, Volume C, A/E Submission Instructions for Minor and NRM Construction Program. All necessary reports shall be prepared in MS Word Version 97 or later and all drawings shall be prepared in AutoCadd Release 14, or later. One set of 3-1/2" computer disks containing all reports, specifications, cost estimates and drawings will be required for the final submission of the CD documents.
