Defense Supply Center Richmond will be conducting a Pre-solicitation Conference with bidders/offerors interested in supplying National Stock Numbers (NSN) under Federal Supply Class 5365, Rings, Shims and Spacers. The initial solicitation identifies 1,700 NSN's in a process that will eventually place approximately 10,000 NSN's on Long Term Contracts. The purpose of this Pre-Solicitation Conference will be to advise potential offerors on the Government's acquisition strategy, solicitation/contract structure and identify the availability of technical data. The Government also desires bidder's feedback as to the viability of the approach and availability/currency of technical data. This feedback will be used to shape the solicitation package. The Government intends to establish contract or contracts with a base period and four, one-year options. The estimated annual value of the initial solicitation package is $6.4 million. The estimated annual value of the 10,000 NSN's is estimated at $17.8 million. The solicitation will include provisions for multiple awards so that contracts can be awarded on an NSN by NSN basis or all or none basis depending on the best value to the Government.
