Services Administration's (GSA) Pacific Rim Region intends to issue a
solicitation for the following: (1) furnish and install a multihop,
digital microwave radio system to replace an existing analog microwave
radio network in the Angeles and San Bernardino National Forests in
southern California. The offeror shall provide a complete system,
installed and ready to use. The offeror shall provide planning and
engineering services necessary to design the proposed system. The
offeror shall design a system that meets the requirements described in
the solicitation and identify, furnish, and install all equipment,
materials, and supplies required to deliver a fully functional system.
The system delivered to the Government shall be installed, tested, and
ready for use. The contractor shall interconnect the microwave radio
system to the Government_s existing very high frequency (VHF) radio,
console control, telephone, and data equipment. The contractor shall
remove the existing analog microwave system including radios,
multiplexers, power systems, and antenna systems and deliver the
removed equipment to a Forest Service location within the Forests as
directed by the Forest Service. The proposed procurement is a full and
open competition. Successful offeror will be required to register with
the GSA's IT Solutions Shop at it-solutions.gsa.gov. As changes occur
(in pricing, product availability, service options, pricing specials,
etc.), it will be the vendor's responsibility to coordinate with the
GSA Contracting Officer and ITM via the ITSS. No telephone requests for
the solicitation will be accepted. The Government does not intend to
pay for the information solicited. Drawings and further questions are
to be requested through the government email to paul.martin@gsa.gov.
GSA will not make hardcopies of the Solicitation available. PROPOSALS
