Contractor shall manufacture 5,000 gray polystyrene stackable tote pans measuring approximately 20"L x 12" W x 8"H weighing approximately 4 pounds each. Product shall be interechangeable with existing tote pans already in use at Defense Distribution Depot San Diego, California. Product shall be manufactured using plastic injection method. Tote pans are designed for use in an automated warehouse facility to convey items placed into them on a conveyor system. Sush products are of various sizes and shape may weigh up to 55 pounds. The tote pans shall be manufactured using a Government provided mold. The mold will be provided to the manufacturer upon award of contract. The mold dimensions are 32 inches long x 26 inches wide and weighs approximately 5,715 lbs. The contractor's final product shall be in strict accrodance with the specifications provided with the quotation and shall be shipped in lots of 1,000 tote pans to Defense Distribution Depot, San Diego, California.
