It is the intent of the Government to negotiate on a sole source basis with Steadfast Technologies, 1832 Coyote Place, Brandon FL 33511 for parts for TSAS NP3 tactile vests. Item 0001: Pneumatic vibrotacile transducers with PVC tactor body, latex rubber diaphragm, discharge orifice for one-way gas flow, quantity 150. Item 0002: Quick Release Tactor Connector, female half; female half stays with aircraft, accepts tubes, releases on excessive tensile force. Item 0003: Quick Release Tactor Connector, male half; male half stays with tactor garment, accepts 24 tubes, release on excessive tensile force. Item 0004: Tactor Drive system: to accept up to 24 TTL inputs, to drive up to 24 tactors, to operate on 24 to 28 VDC power, unit to be mounted in customer's case or on near pilot's seat, systems comprises a control board which generates the signal for all valves, including a common frequency and pulse width, and an assembly of 24 solenoid valves, manifolded to a common 50 psig compressed air supply, and connected to a tube bundle leading to the female half of a suit connector (not included).
