Provide professional A/E services for working drawings and construction documents for a new multiplex fire alarm system for the main patient care buildings 2, 3 and 4 and a new campus wide multiplexed fire alarm loop at the Hefner VAMC, Salisbury, NC. A/E services shall include a study of all buildings at the medical center to verify existing fire alarm equipment and wiring. The design shall conform to VA design criteria and shall be based on the VA provided program. Work will include but not be limited to necessary site visits, surveys, verification of as-built drawings, accurate cost and construction time estimated, construction period services and submittal reviews at 25%, 75%, and 99%. Design shall be complete NLT 6/1/2000. Updated as-builts will be provided on mylar and AutoCad LT 98 drawings format on high dessity diskettes.
