Full and open competition applies. The contractor (A/E) shall develop all schematics, design/development and working drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, etc., for Project number 622-00-101, Replace Air Handlers, Buildings 1,2,&3, at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Work will include evaluating air handlers for replacement. Include replacement of the existing air handlers, associated coils, filter banks, dampers, control elements, and alarms. Phasing will be required. Onsite air and water balancing of supply, return, and exhaust will be included. All air handler units will be required to be tied into the existing energy management system with all monitoring operation and monitoring capabilities. Evaluation criteria will be as follows: 1)Specialized experience of the firm with the type of work required. 2) Capacity of the firm to perform the work within the time limitations. 3)Past record of performance on contracts with Governement agencies. 4) Familiar with the area in which the project is located. 5) Geographic location and facilities of the working office.
