Full and open competition. The contractor shall develop all schematics, design/development, and working drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, etc. for project number 622-00-104, Replace Chiller at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. A/E will evaluate the existing system to determine conditions affecting the design and construction. Work will include removal of the existing Trane R-11, 906 ton chiller and evacuation, dismantling, removal and disposal of existing chiller. New chiller installation also included. Evaluation criteria will be as follows: 1) Specialized experience of the firm with the type of work required. 2) Capacity of the firm to perform the work within the time limitations. 3) Past record of performance on contracts with Governement agencies. 4) Familiar with the area in which the project is located. 5) Geographic location and facilitiesof the working office.
