The U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command has a requirement for custodial services for various facilities. This procurement is 100% set-aside for firms in the Small Business Administration 8(a) Program in Regions 1, 2, and 3. Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform custodial services throughout the U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command, Natick, Ma. Services include: general cleaning in all offices and all hallway areas; daily cleaning services in the dining room of the Post Restaurant; providing food service trained and certified individuals to clean the recipe development area, the food pilot plant, bakery and associated areas, and the taste test kitchen laboratory counters, booths and dishes; and dusting in the technical library. Offerors must submit a proposal on all items in order to be considered for award. The SIC Code for the acquisition is 7349. The Small Business Size Standard is $12.0 Million. A Firm Fixed Priced contract with indefinite quantity items will be awarded for a Base Period (1 March 2000 through 30 September 2000), with the option to extend 4 Option Periods of one year each.
