This is modification 2 to synopsis entitled RFO5-08710-202, CdTe/CdZnTe Detector Pixels, which was posted on July 28, 1999 and amended on August 6, 1999. The synopsis stated that "NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for the acquisition of up to 39,000 individual 4mm x 4 mm x 2 mm CdTe/CdZnTe detector pixels. Please note that NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for "up to 45,000 individual 4 mm x 4 mm x 2 mm CdTe/CdZnTe detector pixels. The synopsis stated that "The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26". Please be advised that NASA/GSFC has determined that the Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. The synopsis stated "The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about August 11, 1999 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about September 10, 1999".
